IMPORTANCE OF PARLIAMENT

PRLIAMENT
The term parliament is derived from the French   parlement, the action of parler[to speak].
Parliament is defined as a representative body having supreme legislative powers within a state. It represents people in the country to view out their questions to the government
Parliament is an organization which makes laws in the country or states.
 IMPORTANCE OF PARLIAMENT
v   This is a place where laws are made
v   This is a place where issues of national importance are debated and discussed, forestance, National budget
v   It ensures participatory democratic system and active interaction between the people and their representative
v   This is a place where people or public at large gets opportunity through their representative to ask questions to their government
v   It is an organ which allows a vote of no confidence to the government , that is it can vote out the president

v   It can check out government works, it is like a control organ to oversee daily performance of the government, e.g. government programmes
